@99sk8erboy99 Hi Sam,
you are using 3D Home Architecture Deluxe? I using the same program too for the last decade. You are correct that the program has its limitations, but your creativity can go quite a distance. If you like, we can exchange works and experiences. I am looking forward hearing from you.

All the great Architects were positively influenced by someone.... you will be that someone for some great Architect!
-
and architects are pretty much annoyed by the stick-to-the-structure-sense guide of engineers, and didn't consider and understand the concept and ideas beyond the architectural decision of the building...
look at zaha hadid, rem koolhas, frank gehry and many other architects.. those guys imagine and think of new forms, new possibilities, and their building was built..
if FL wright always stick with the structural sense.. then we'll never see a masterpiece such as the fallingwater

can you tell me the names of those buildings you show please........i really wanna know^^

hi Doug, I'm only 15 at the moment and hoping to become an Architect. I just wanted to thank you because your video's have really inspired me to fore fill my dream of being an Architect. I am currently using the '3D Home Architecture Deluxe 3.0' but the program is very limited, do you know of any decent Architectural programs that are of a reasonable price?
Thanks a lot, Sam
I liked this video a lot. I've always kind of designed this way and been very influenced by form and expression of a building. However, you didn't show any Peter Eisenman buildings, which are some of the worst examples in my mind of function following form. His gridded geometrical Houses that were impossible to live in. It's fine when something looks cool, and has a logic, but if people can't live in it without going crazy is it really worth it?
