I just started this today and I have to say I don't like it. The health system is 3 hits then respawn at beginning of level (terrible NES reminder). The camera is bad and I can't find anyway to invert the controls. While it seems like R&C completely ripped this off I think Insomniac improved upon it a lot.

@Blaiyan Although both games are similar in genre, ratchet and clank is also very different: for one thing clank develops his own controls and the moves are very different to those Jak performs, plus Ratchet and Clank involves going from one planet to the next whilst Jak and Daxter has non-linear, no missions gameplay (well, asides from collect a certain number of power cells). I'm amazed you don't like this game- it's epic :D

@Blaiyan Actually InsOmniac Games didn't rip it off. InsOmniac and Naughty Dog had similar titles released at similar times with similar stories.

I can't believe I completely skipped this series on the PS2. I think the reason was at the time I thought Jak looked stupid. But I am now enjoying the games with the HD collection for the PS3. I can say now, that I was completely wrong back then. These games are awesome.

@ZeppelinG1993 There's a bigger difference, an LP is where people fail epically a lot and take forever to complete games, where a walkthrough is where the gamer is playing it from beginning to end, without messing around. :P

@richboywird2 There are many people who do commentated walkthroughs as well lol :P

I got the hd collection looks amazing, played this game when it came out 2001 :D
