  • greetings from the emerald isle

    glad you enjoyed paul brady

i;ll next direct you to a band that paul was a member of

in fact he replaced the man that sings this song

they are some of the finest trad/folk musicans on this island

look up little musgrave performed by planxty

a long tale of illicit love

    hope you enjoy

  • @seamusdel, i did enjoy it! thank you for all your suggestions :D

  • greetings from the emerald isle

check out paul bradys version of arthur mcbride

a song with a similar theme as the kings shilling

  • @seamusdel, i just looked up that song...and I LOVE IT! :D it great :D if you have anymore suggestions i would be all up for it! thanks soo much!

  • i think this is more an english rather than an irish tune

    fabulous song none the less

  • @seamusdel , i kinda figured that it was a bit english due to the shilling reference....still the Irish group i've done a few small get-togethers with...we would always sing this song...so it reminds me of my heritage :) hense why i brought that up...thats also why i didn't call it an irish tune...i just said it was lovely tune :P still i'm glad you liked it :) thanks for commenting! :)
