Hugh Jackman made a special appearance on Monday night's WWE Raw to promote his upcoming boxing film Real Steel. Hugh started by climbing in the ring and talking to the 15,000-strong crowd at the Quickens Lona Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, telling them what a pleasure it was to be there and they should all go and see his new film Real Steel.

The actor got into an altercation with notoriously antagonistic wrestler Dolph Ziggler, who insulted Jackman by calling him the wrong superhero name: Batman. While this back-and-forth was surely staged, as WWE match-ups are, when Jackman delivered the planned punch, it may have achieved an unintentional result.

"MRI scheduled for 1 pm.....possible fractured jaw #thanksBatman," Ziggler wrote from his HEELZiggler Twitter account Tuesday. He later seemed to confirm the injury, following up with, "hairline mandibular fracture" tweet. However, a source close to the match told E! News that Ziggler actually took the storyline into his own hands regarding his claims of a broken jaw, but that he is "fine" and there's no injury of any kind. So what do you think? Was this staged promotion clever or lame? Leave a comment below and let us know.
