1981 trans am 400 4 speed onramp

1981 trans am 2nd and 3rd gear pull. Had to brake right after 3rd shift because of a slow truck on the onramp. Going to fix the slight exhaust leak and broken oil sender wire (pinned gauge). 400 pontiac, XE262 cam 6X heads hedman headers 4 speed and a 3.08 rear gear.

It gets around 14 in town and 17 on the highway. Its a borg warner super t10

It can, Ive had it to 130. Just the speedometer cuts out at 85.

these cars are capable of getting 20+ mpg but the gear ratio's and the rear end fucks up the entire thing and walla thats how you end up with 10mpg
