A Shakespearian Tragedy: Desdemona is a beautiful young Venetian who enrages and disappoints her father (the Doge), by eloping with a man several years her senior and from a different race (Moor). Manipulated by Iago, Othello battles with jealousy, which ulitmately results in him murdering Desdemona, his beloved wife. Realising his wife's innocence and having been duped all along by the sinister Iago, Othello then takes his own life alongside Desdemona. ~Vita 7/6/09
