If the supposed harm from smoking and passive smoking was already proven, why do anti smoking groups still keep squandering money on yet more studies trying to prove it?

HC. As you and all halfway intelligent people know. The WHO made big claims for their study. The evidence did nothing to bother me because I read the report. Risk was minimal, safer than drinking water. On further study, even that minimal risk was exaggerated. Their control groups were atypical. I'm even LESS bothered now. ;-D Dave.

Prior to the smoking ban, I, like everyone else was quite happy to believe that my smoking was bad for me. But as soon as they passed a law based on the obvious lie of passive smoke, I was inspired to re-examine the previous claims. Another one for our antis. If there is a causal relationship between Smoking and cardiovascular disease, why is it that there are less people smoking, (the cause), and MORE cardiovascular disease? Is it some sort of inverse causal relationship? That would mean that if everyone starts smoking, there should be no cardiovascular disease. Nope doesn't work. I know!
