Classic Game Room HD reviews VIRTUA RACING DELUXE for Sega 32x from 1994. This driving game works on the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive with the 32X expansion device and delivers an amazingly smooth and playable version of the 1992 arcade racer, Virua Racer! Although Virtua Racer was available for the Sega Genesis it was choppy and sluggish. This 32X version blows it away with five tracks, three cars and excellent gameplay that runs smooth with quick response times. This CGR review of Virua Racing Deluxe for Sega 32x has gameplay from thie Sega Genesis Mega Drive driving game, Virtua Racing Deluxe showing game play in action.

  • The cars are:

    Prototype: Nissan R92CP

    Stock Car: Chevrolet Camaro

  • Don't know about anyone else but these are my favorite graphics as far as 3D goes.

If they continued to make games like this for the PSN or XBLA then that would be excellent!

  • @nooblet911 ohyeah..... 2 more cars, 2 new tracks and way better graphics... pretty big improvement

  • I love my Saturn but the 32X version of this game is FAR better than the later Saturn's version. Time Warner really botched up SEGA's license potential in Virtua Racing.

  • here we are in 2011 with the latest technology and graphics and NFS cant even come up with a cockpit view OR A FUCKING MANUAL for their hot pursuit...

  • @bigmike4758 And three difficulties, 3X5X5=75 total ways to play. Not too bad, but very outdated by todays insane standards...

  • It's so real I think I'm gonna cry...

  • GODDAMN THATS A FUNKY BEAT lmfao

  • The 32X had the same main chips as the Saturn- I regard this one as closer to the arcasde version compared to the Time Warner-released V.R. Virtua Racing on the Saturn, although that one was fun too

  • @bigmike4758 That's still more than the first "Ridge Racer" game on the PS1.

  • Virtual Racong arcade was so much fun!
