@XthecheeseX Don't remember what I said exactly in the video but I know more than most how to operate new technology and am far from conservative. I was more concerned with how it dilutes the intelligence of the user who is no longer forced to have to think about what they're doing or how it's being achieved. Any references to me not knowing how to operate T.Vs were exaggerations for failed comic effect, my apologies.

I completely understand your point, but this kinda comes across as anticapitalistic technophobic paranoid bullshit. You can't blame 'corporations' for making everything more complicated. Its consumers that are to blame. If they didn't choose to buy the shit in the first place, there would be no market for it, and it wouldn't exist.

@coralnerd it is indeed anti capitalistic - I don't think it's the other things. Capitalism isn't the perfect system everyone would perhaps like to believe it is. It has it's merits, for sure but many flaws. I don't really blame corps too much either, mainly silly consumers and a silly society created by the uber rich to keep themselves uber rich and others uber poor.

but when something really kool and original comes by there are few comments and only like 2oo views, i bet if people actually gave videos like this a chance, they'd adapt to a different standard of living, like this guy talks about,

@coralnerd: I'm a self-confessed nerd proficient in many things technological (circuit design, programming from Java to C to assembly languages for various CPUs), also with much interest in mechanics, chemistry, blah blah etc etc but I agree with everything he puts forth in this video. No technofear here. You do have a point though when it comes to consumers being to blame... but partly. It's a two-sided sword IMHO.
