Oh...I understand now. I agree. In fact the same thought went through my mind. I think Libera may have been stunned by the elaborite setup & realizeation that their old stage movements just wouldn't work. The CC almost had to have helped with Hollywood staging, sound and especially fog machines & lighting. bigBen didn't elaborate but said there was more video equipment than his. I hopefully suspect you may be right. Can't wait to find out. It will blow you away !!!
Sorry, I didn't mean the stage setup, I mean the recording equipment and such. They have a good sound system and video (as evidenced by the morning Hour of Power broadcast), so it would've been cool if they just used what was there to record another DVD (like Leiden).
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. They did use the same setup - it was left there from Easter for the Libera concert. The differance being the concert was at night with lots of colored lights and the boys sang on both stage levels. The high stage you see in the Hour of Power was an added Easter stage.
I wish they had filmed the whole concert just using the same setup they had for the morning service. The Hour of Power could make some good sales if they could offer that! I'll be awaiting BigBen's recordings with bated breath!
It was unprecedented. Libera had never performed a concert anything like it. The old choreography just wouldn't work on the multilevel stage so their positions on stage had to be relearned Orchestration seemed toned down with more emphasis on vocals. The kaleidoscope of colored lights were surreal. There was even a Grand Piano used on stage. bigBen had a camcorder in his hand all night and said he would post his video's. You can check my concert report on Libera360. Bill
