the price is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off ok so 13 inch screen 128 gb flash storage for what oh thats right $1300 WAT DA FUCK APPLE 13 inch screen for that price need to take off about 200 dollars than we will talk 13 inch scrren is tiny im using 15 inch and want a bigger screen
@brewskhee Not sure where you are getting your prices from but you are wrong. $999 for a base 11" MBP, 2gb ram, 64gb SSD. Or $1199 for 2gb and 128gb. Warranty, $200 at the most online.
@brewskhee Drive deal. Well many notebooks/netbooks do not have CDROMS anymore. You have to get externals. And any external USB drive will work. Most have a daisy chain type of USB cable, it takes one up, but gives you another. FYI, they already have upgrades for the SSD available on the net. It's upgradable. Video port supports whatever type of interface you need instead of limiting you to only ONE (RGB). You can pick and choose HDMI, or DVI, or RGB. You decide. I like that.
Video port requires an adapter ($20 from Apple...mo' money!).
I kind of agree with the drive deal but you still need one(another $79.99...from Apple again), and on top of that, it uses up one of the 2 USB ports on the thing.
You can only get 128gb SSD on 11" air, the 256gb is on 13" only.
So, in conclusion you are spending $2,268.83 for netbook.
What is the target audience? People with too much money?
@brewskhee It has a Video port and you use the adapter for what connection you want on it. No need to waste all that space on all extra ports when one can do all. I have a XPS 16 now, and only used it's drive to install things and never on the run. I personally see no use for one. And when you need it, and you will know ahead of time, take it with you. Batteries are replaceable but requires the cover to be removed. Not that hard. 256gb is more than enough space and it's SSD.
i can buy alienware m14x with a price of this !
