This version is million times creepier than the remake. That music is just so chilling and creepy also I like the staggering zombie to its racing successor in todays zombie flicks.

At :58, wouldnt they know what a shopping mall is?. They one guy flies a traiffic helicopter, so he would fly over cities etc.

Exactly, I remember seeing the first "indoor mall" and it was around 1978. Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Michigan. SEARS was the only store there. That will always be a haunting memory for me now, thanks to "Dawn," the greatest movie ever imho.
