For those who think that the GT-R could've caught up with a few extra laps, look at how the tires were going out on the GT-R, making the driver use steering and the ATTESA system to compensate.
The great part of the Skyline is the speed it has for it's weight, at first. As the battle prolongs, the weight of the body starts abusing the tires much more than the RX-7 does.
