Part 2 of my recent trip to the Trentino Alps over New Years. This footage was taken on New Years Day 2010 at Madonna di Campiglio featuring some amazing views from high up in the alps. It's amazing being above the clouds/mist. It was a beautiful sunny day too.

Madonna di Campiglio/Marilleva/Folgarida is a joined chain of ski resorts in Trentino Alte-Adige, Italia. Taken on 1 January 2010. Enjoy! :)

  • magnificent~~

wow, u had the camera on your hand 0_o, omg.

haha, i first thought the camera was secured on your head or something ( i actually saw this kind of gear in camera shop lol)

  • Oh thats not quite wat I meant by shame. I meant it's a shame I can ONLY get these artistic moments when in a low phase - that I can't seem be as creative/artistic when I'm in a good mood and all is well.

  • I disagree about the "shame" part.

Of course it is not easy to go through the phases you mention - but let me ask you.

Let me pose you a question. Would you give up the lows if it meant that you lost out your artistic and emotional highs?

  • @trashysinatra Ahh yes. Actually that is quite observant of you. I do tend to have my most creative moments (be it with music or video creations) when I'm in an introspective/reflective/depressive period. Its a shame I can't seem to get the same sort of creativity when I'm in a good mood!! :P

And I do remember that vlog now.. I re-watched it last nite to remind myself lol. I rather liked how I did the first part - that train journey. I'd totally forgotten about that!

  • After you have been through an introspective / reflective period (why am i where i am, doing what I'm doing? &c. &c.) you produce a nice piece of art (such as this video).

Am I putting 1+1 together and getting 3? Or is art your outlet? You articulate what a lot of other feel but can't, for one reason or another, express - well done.

ben folds was the traintrip to your penultimate workplace - you've probably blocked all thoughts of London's rubbish train system from your memory ;-)

  • Reflective mood? Please explain?

Also remind me again.. which Ben Folds vid? Lol.

But thanks for the compliment. I'm glad u enjoyed it. :)

  • ha! I knew it. You always go into a reflective mood just before you do some of your best artistic work.

one of your best vids since the ben folds one :-) well done
