How many months does it take for a single clove to create a whole bunch of garlic?

@9aspengold5 When i plant the cloves in the fall and pick the garlic around July when the plant starts to yellow.

Also, I plant it down about 2 inches or a little more...

Do you water the garlic everyday til winter comes? or just water it once, the day you plant it? And how far down did you plant it?

I am in NY so I plant it in the late fall. I only water it when I plant it, and let nature do the rest.

Very nice and informative video. we hear in Pakistan have a very hard sun. Temp in Winters are even 24 -20 Cent. can you tell me If i plant them in a wooden frame. what hight i should keep . I think its should be aleast 12-14 inches. will you please put your answer.

@imamensa I planted some last year, grew over the winter

but in April they looked like spring onions. Thinking I made a

mistake I pulled them. I guess I should have let them go for

a few more months like you say. I will try again this year.
