The Grey is a 'monster' movie -- dark, depressing, and as accurate a portrayal of wolf behavior as 'King Kong' was about gorillas.

Wolves are afraid of loud noises. The sound of a plane crashing would have sent them running 50 miles in the other direction, not to mention the smoke-they're extremely afraid of fire. All wildlife is. So a wolf leaping over fire? Not a chance. You couldn't even get a trained wolf to do that. (not to mention that wolves don't have dens in the winter. They only have dens when the pups come along, in April. Then move out as soon as the pups can see and walk)

When filming this movie, why didn't anyone stop and ask, "Maybe we should get someone out here that knows something about wolves so we don't look like complete idiots?"

The grey was so unbelievably terrible. i thought it would be great, but it wasnt even fun to watch

If you honestly want to see the nature of the wolf, documented and true, read any of the stories from "the outlaw wolves" or look up one of the most famous, Lobo kiing of the curumpaw (a tribute to the meaning of true love) or wosca and her valiant cub/ this should open your eyes to the lies that have been produced in the 1600s and nurtured with great care to this day into this movie.
