I can't express how good it felt this morning at our vigil - and I think
that feeling pervaded the group. It was a kind of homecoming, particularly for
us long-time (5-1/2-year) vigilers. Somehow, the people looked happier, the
music sounded even more wonderful than usual, spirits were higher - I think
the main thing was a feeling of safety that we had not felt in 6 long months
under virtual siege. No yelling in our faces, no pushing and nudging, no
nastiness, threats, names, curses.... just true peace. For the first time in 6
months, I didn't have to worry about someone getting hurt, about violence, about rude words and gestures. We were back to our old selves. How sweet it was!

"Those of us in the anti-war vigil do not, and we never will in the future, "bully, intimidate or threaten" anyone. We agree, those who oppose us have every right to assemble where they choose, even if it creates tension."

  • Good insight, Raoul!

  • You have no idea how the world works. Stop censoring the truth.

YOu are nothing but a weak, feable minded idiot who is easily manipulated.

Do yourself a favor. Educate yourself.

And before you start calilng me names like RIGH TWINGERS DO, just know that I was in Vietnam... a real war!

You on the other hand, have problaby never left the united states, but you think you KNOW EVERYTHING.

  • That would be rightwingers. If you are going to insult someone - spell it right!

You are funny and intensely stupid for a veteran. Most anti-war zealots are.

Of course you were in Vietnam - are you proud of the war you lost?

  • Skye,

That other video shows Veteran For Peace John M. angrily screaming "Get that camera out of my face". And violence follows.

In this one, I notice you don't scream at John Grant, "Get that face out of my camera" and there's no violence on your part.

Seems normal Americans are more peaceful than the Chester County Peace Movement. Why? How can that be don't you know...?

  • On March 23, 2008, the Daily Local published a Letter To the Editor from John Grant, President of the local chapter of Veterans For Peace.

One can make up your own mind as to John Grant's total lack of intergrity by watching what he does versus what he told the community via his LTE: "Those of us in the anti-war vigil do not, and we never will in the future, "bully, intimidate or threaten" anyone."

No John, not much...what did you tell Skye about how close to her camera you can get?

  • John Grant wrote a letter to the editor of the Inquirer comparing Kevin Ferris to Goebbels.

Why would he call Ferris Goebbels before calling Porter Goebbels?

Which one is likely to tell the "big lie", tell it bigger and more often, Ferris or Porter?

  • It smells the same.

  • Skye,

Send it to the Philadelphia Police Department's Civil Affairs Unit so they can use it as a training film on threatening Moonbat behavior.

Also so they can ientify the troublemakers mostlikely to incite a violent incident. They can probably measure the John-Johns for silver braclets in advance.

  • Likewise Grant's crap about the West Chester Police needing better training. I've talked to the an officer on Philly's Civil Affairs squad (recogized as the nation's best) and described BiteSize's actions and he told me that would get BiteSize cuffed. BiteSize would have to stay outside a "comfortable distance" which most police and courts recognize as beyond an arm length.

Both BiteSize and Grant are full of it. Someday their bullying WILL get them arrested too.

  • John Beitzel and John Grant do not care for the rule of law. It is not lawful in Pennslyvania to get withing someone's "confortable space". PA Code 5503, Disorderly Conduct says "...creates a hazardous or physically offensive condition by any act which serves no legitimate purpose of the actor."

Grant's full of it. In his LTE he says the don't "intimidate, harass or bully" but clearly he did so to a woman.
