A re-enactment of the renowned monologue, "Finding Matthew Shepard", as interpreted by a high school student. May this serve as an educational piece to all actors in their youth who search for the right monologue while they discover the positives and negatives of choices made in the performance.

Awesome job :) I saw this monologue performed recently at an acting competition. It was a big HS thing with a lot of entrants -- and the performance of this monologue won the dramatic monologue category, which was a huge deal. I was lucky enough to be around at the time of the finals performance, and I couldn't stop bawling. pretty good! i am doing The Laramie Project in my Theatre Company class that I go to, and so I'm doing research. I've performed this monologue in front of the class the second day we had this, but our challenge was to have one personality as the one you played, and the other as you hate homosexuals and such, so it was bitter, mean, etc. it was a really good exercise. we perform it in the spring, so i'm excited. good job though!
