Brass is the usually the most expensive component in reloading. If you want to reload your own ammunition, you'll probably want some way to clean the casings of your spent brass. I picked up this case tumbler from Cabelas. In came in a kit that included the tumbler, a bag of corn cob media, a bottle of polishing compound and a bowl for separating the media from your brass. Reloading can be very rewarding. It's cheaper than buying preloaded ammo, you can work up more accurate loads, and you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

  • Answered the question I was searching for. I wasn't sure how much of the polishing compound to put inside. Also I tumbled for an hour but it wasn't as shiny as your .45 brass so I know to leave it in longer now. Thanks for the help.

  • @ForeverGandJ I'm glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching.

  • Brass is the most expensive component? Where I am it's the bullets, then primers, then depending on the round a close tie for brass & powder. I have a full size trash bucket of 9mm brass from the range. People just leave it laying around.

  • @ExploringTruth It is generally the most expensive if you have to buy it. This is a big benefit of going to the range. I get a ton of 223 casings the same way.

  • @trophyhunter147 Sorry, I replied but I misread your question. No, I deprime after cleaning.

  • Have this same tumbler, works great for its price point, I do 200 .223 at a time with the bowl half full of lizard litter i got at the local pet store, works faster then cob or walnut and is dirt cheap. Dont police ur brass, I dont wana have 2 start buying mine.

  • thanks for video
