where can i get those sick drum samples? thanks :D
-
@imapieface Nope. Just another breakcore producer. I just really love the melody he uses in this video, and since he doesn't have the xrns file, I'm trying to reconstruct it.
-
I'll just use GarageBand...

@poopr1221 are you theapc?
-
wat u using i use ableton 8
-
Also: I'm currently trying to reconstruct the melody in one of my own songs. of course, doing a terrible job. I just love the melody of this little jam. Hauntingly beautiful.

Welcome to breakcore.

alone, the break and the melody sound great. but they absolutely do not fit together. it sounds like someone at a church organ next to someone playing a drumset with some kitchen instruments.
damn! i love it :D I would love to do a remix if you wouldn't mind but I would need a midi file for the melody. So if you got some free time, could you upload a midi file of the melody ? Thx in advance ^^ Cheerz!

I'd love to do so, but unfortunately I no longer have that file (I don't use the same computer). I wish I could give it to you, and would love to hear a remix, but alas I can't.

Hey I never asked, what synth would you be using for this video? I love the sound. I've been trying to achieve that sound forever and can't seem to get it right.

To be honest I can't remember and I've a different computer now from when I made this vid. I think it's just a triangle and saw wave with a short attack and reasonable release, then distorted to all hell for the later bit that sounds more like an organ.
Whatever it is, it's not too complex. Just mess around with simple settings, you'll probably succeed.

Thanks!
I learned Renoise by simply messing around with it and finding out how things worked. Good luck with your own work!
