Unknown Objects over OCean Grove, Dec. 2 2011

Unknown objects over Ocean Grove, Swansea Mass, Dec. 2nd 955 p.m.
Observed a large curved tube like object hovering over a home in the old Grove village along the cove/pond. The object swiveled and glowedd an incredible deep red, as if it were on fire. It was initially described as looking like a large flying ember. But it cast no outward light. It was silent. It then formed a long shoot like object and then curled into a ball and slowly elevated from its perch at about 1000 feet and then moved towards the Coal plant and cooling towers. As two witnesses watched in amazement and i tried to my phone video camera to work, a second object came over from the beach area of town behind us. It also was shaped into a ball like object but the end of the tube was still visible. IT passed over us quickly but again silently. As it moved about a quarter mile away, the camera began to work and this is what was seen. You will note that the cooling tower lights are at the lower portion of the screen. To their right at the bottom is another set of blinking lights of the radio station tower. Apologies ahead of time for the vulgarity uttered during the observations. This is the original video taken off the phone. Obviously it was not an ideal recording devise, but there was no forewarning and thankfully, it worked in time to capture this strange throbbing and shape shifting object. When contacted, the Swansea Police had no other reports of unknown lights or objects reported at 9:55 this Dec. 2nd night. The conditions were extremely clear, with more than average star visibility. Another anomaly not captured by the camera is the distortion of the air around the object, it seemed less clear. During this video, I walked towards the object and the two other witnesses remained in place. Two of the three individuals overheard during the video live within 500 yards of the location outside of Bench warmers Club. For the record, I had just had an angus burger and one drink and was going outside for a cigarette with witness #2 (Jim who does not smoke) and we were involved in a discussion about our plans for the evening when the object appeared. Jim ran back into the bar and grabbed Witness 3 whose name is also Rick. He used his phone to take one still photo of the object, which with the distortion looks like a giant ear. I make no claims as to knowing what this object nor the other object we witnessed are. A third object which seemed to be far ahead of the first one we initially saw, could have also been a similar thing. We could only see it as also flying flickering light in the far distance and can not say for sure what it was.

I loaded all of the video. I have blown it up but I have no more. My camera would not cooperate or you would have the first one on video. no bubble burst. It was right over us less than 200 feet above us and huge. it covered the area of an entire street and the homes on each side. It was not a lantern. Why would you try and tell me what we saw when you are in New Bedford? Maybe what people saw in New Bedford were lanterns but this was not.  This thing was huge and changed shaped right in front of our eyes. This video is of the second one which zooooomed over us and was also larger than a bread basket or any lantern!

I am sorry to burst your bubble but these are lanterns that our family and friends set off to celebrate our dearly departed friends birthday. I am sure that he is up in heaven having a good laugh at this video. Thanks for sharing!

im always looking over the northern skies of New Bedford; just look over from the direction of the airport, to about Market Basket towards Acushnet,i noticed last week 4 in time frame 7 pm-5 a.m, the SAME EXACT passing of these Glowing Orbs, intercepted by jets and always chasing them in the direction towards fairhaven, JUST WATCH and CALL your friends for more viewers...ive got some really great footage from the ISS LIVE webcamera as well

THIS ONE LOOKS GOOD. THE ONLY THING IT COULD POSSIBLY BE IS A HELICOPTER BUT AT THE END IT CLEARLY WASN'T. IS THERE MORE VIDEO? I WANT YOU TO UPLOAD THE ENTIRE CLIP. They have been visiting us for years. I've seen them over the Taunton River in Somerset. Seems they are interested in the water, from what I've experienced. Make no mistake about it, they are real and they are here!
