Losi 5ive-T, first run ever 2011-12-31

Just a video when i first started my Losi. Most of the video was me fiddeling with the settings, not exciting place to drive this truck at all :(

After over 30min my fiance got bored filming... and the tank wasnt even down to half, so i drove a littlebit more and got it tuned in pretty good for basic setting atleast in the end... with gas left in the tank :(

Stay tuned for some action with this truck as soon as i have adjusted a few minor details... this old monstertruck sambapipe seams to give a nice midrange boost, seams so anyways.

Maybe i will have bought the engine i want or atleast a real nice tunepipe for the next movie ;)

Edit 2012: The old engine i installed in this was apparently damaged a few years back and thats why it doesnt sound right, finally died 2012 jan 15th... i really dont miss that crappy pos cy billet engine, always had to tune it and mess with it. Using the stock engine for now, but going to get a beast-engine very soon. Me personally.. never again will i try out a cy engine, stick with zenoah's and other quality brands, it's just my opinion.

Thank you for helping us here in Brazil have a hpi 5SC, his opinion on the Losi 5ive if you think buying a 26cc engine with that it supports and the obstacles, it is better than the hpi 5SC you think best? thank you thank you same to you the greetings of his entire nation Brazil.

The losi with 26cc are not enough to have real fun,you need atleast a good tunepipe like jetpro or similar for that engine to have some real fun with it. Optimal would be atleast a 29cc engine and a pipe,then it will be a blast to drive.

Both the losi 5ive and hpi 5sc are great trucks, in my opinion i love them both. In the long run i guess the 2wd will be more fun, as it takes more skills to master.. the 4wd is more easy and forgiving.

All that smoke in the beginning is from the engine not been used for many years, and last time i used it i had wrong oil/fuel mix.. to much oil.. dont ask why :(

The old motor was used in two videos, and never got it tuned good. On the video snow-drifting i used the new stock engine and that was much better tuned, and worked like it should.

Im using fully synthetic high quality oil and a standardmix 25-1, it's better to be safe if you drive hard ;)

Jo, denna "vintern" har ju varit ett stort skämt, regn o regn och mera regn :( kul om det åtminstånne hann torka upp emellan skurarna.

Synd att du inte fått prova din nya baja än, de är skitsköna. Det är många som säger rent ut att baja är skit nu och denna losi betraktas som någon gudsymbol eller nåt, patetiskt.

Jag skaffade en baja 5sc ss i sommras och gillar verkligen den bilen, jag gillar båda skitmycket.
