Opera Mini v. "iPhone"? Wouldn't the more HONEST comparison be Opera Mini Browser v. Safari Browser?
This clip is downright deceitful and malicious in its attempt to confuse and distort facts about browsers and phones/smartphones.
The comparison of Opera Mini with iPhone is no more a sensible or honest an argument than a comparison between Firefox and the Blackberry, or Internet Explorer and Mac OSX Snow Leopard.
Also, their arguments about cost is also just nonsense designed to trick users.
Advanced Web browsing has always been one of the iPhone's selling point. The point of this video is, you don't need to buy an iphone to have a decent browser, any cell phone released in a last few years will do (you know anyone who doesn't have one of those already?) So practically, you can get an advanced browser for free, on any phone. I started using Opera Mini on a Sony Ericsson K300, and have been a fan ever since.
I LUV Opera Mini 4.2 on My Kyocera Widcard! I use it when my housemates are on the house computer. It's a fantastic alternative when a PC or Laptop is unavailable.
I compared my friend's Dads Iphone 3G to my cell phones Opera mini side by side. Both in landscape view. Loaded nationalgeograpic Opera mini: 14 seconds Iphone 3G: 33 Seconds Both had full bars on the EDGE Network!
