The second assignment we got from Dripha in Denmark. Using only basic geometric shapes (I cheated a little with the trumpets ;) we were to animate them by using deformers to music. We had a couple of days.
I made quite a lot in relation to the others as I recycled and simplified things...
It's been 7-8 months since I made it and I would of course have done things differently now, it was a simple assignment to get us into animating in Maya.
We were not allowed to render the clip, only to show a "playblast".

The music clip is "De L'alouette" by RJD2 (who I love ;)

  • hey, I like this. keep up the good work. I tried learning Maya on my own once but was not very patient with it.  kudos to you. did you you make the music yourself too?
