@jnvyoral My brother used to work overseas and commuted on a regular basis. When he was gone, his black lab lived with our parents. When he flew in, the plane came low enough and just barely south of our paremts' house. If he was on the correct side of the plane, he could see his dog in the dog run behind their house.

Being native to the area (Humble, Texas, which borders right up to the east side of Bush) I'd say this flight came in from the east, finally lining up with an east west runway after crossing the upper San Jacinto River which empties into Lake Houston...slight adjustment to the southwest, crossing HWY59 (major freeway) then setting down on one of the two or three east west runways. In earlier days, when the airport first opened, we used to sit in the yard and watch the planes come in. Awesome!

Aren’t electronics supposed to be turned off in flight especially landing?

when i arrived at bush airport for a connecting flight to denver i got sent to the waiting room after having my finger prints taken. Im from the uk. it scared me a little bit as the layout looked the same as a county jail booking centre. Can anybody tell me what this room is? It doesn't mean you are in trouble does it by being sent there as i had done nothing wrong. does this area have cells for people they refuse entry
