"New Messiah" from Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge
"Aquarius" from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse

New Messiah composed by Hidehiro Funauchi,
Aquarius composed by Hidenori Maezawa, Jun Funahashi, and Yukie Morimoto,
Castlevania by Konami.

The arrangement of New Messiah is inspired by the remix from Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, remixed by Manabu Namiki.

The second half of the arrangement of Aquarius is inspired by the "Travel Demon" heavy metal medley (best Medley ever!) from S.S.H. aka. Saitama Saisyu Heiki, visit http://www.ssh.ne.jp/

This would have been the beginning of the second medley. I have to move on from that at the moment so I thought I'd just record it and put it up before I forget how to play it. The recording isn't that great, either. Enjoy it for what it's worth.

  • is there a way to get the actual music sheet :o/ i wanna play it :3

  • @Commandos12 i am sorry, i don't have sheets for this. it's my own arrangement, i recorded this a long time ago and unfortunately i also didn't save a midi of this so doing a transcription might be very difficult. i might be able to play this again some time in the future, but it's not sure yet and i don't know when that might be. i'll keep this in mind, though. greetings

  • Wow, great job. New Messiah is one of my favorite tracks in the series. It's a shame that there aren't too many original takes on it.

  • @kubevubin Hi, yeah it's a really underrated and underappreciated piece. Too bad it hasn't been remixed in many other CV games as so many other key tracks have. Perhaps it will in the future :) I know there has been another piano solo arrangement which was played in the CV Concert, but that arrangement is one of the few piece for which there are no videos available, and the organizers of the concert ignore all questions regarding a CD or DVD release :( Perhaps we'll get to hear it in the future.

  • Could you play New Messiah at a faster tempo? It's such a dope and obscure track. Kudos, btw.

  • @genericsavings Hi, thank you, and yeah this is played a bit slower than the original. The reason is that this arrangement was originally planned to be part of a larger medley, and playing it faster would have made other pieces too fast.

  • @GrovyleXShinyCelebi Officially the title is "Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge" but everybody knows that it's the sequel to Castlevania The Adventure.

  • Yeaha! It's a Very Nice!

  • I thought this was great. As a matter of personal taste, I didn't care at all for the 'diddling' of the notes around 45 seconds to 50 seconds in, but I really enjoyed everything else. The seemless transition and keychange from New Messiah to Aquarias was really impressive. The word 'graceful' comes to mind.

Why oh why did I ever give up my old classical instrument from when I was a kid? :P

  • @Verdegrand Could you please do the credits theme from Castlevania III and praying hands from Castlevania Adventure II?

  • sooo good!

  • @Verdegrand

  • this is really quite fantastic
