Being a "US Soccer" legend is hardly restricted to performing for the national team. Obviously many agree with me as Preki is being inducted into the US Soccer Hall of Fame today. Congrats to Preki!

Incredible. Today the US is expected to at least score. Back then, they got shut out routinely this was a great moment. Preki is serbian, but this makes him even more American. The USA is a nation where people can trace their roots to Italy, Germany, Scotland, Brazil, Ireland, England, France, Argentina and Portugal. From a nuetral point of view it seems curios as to why the USA, a country as big as all of Europe suffers from bad football.

yeah this wasnt the A team but it was still a very good B team with a couple of A team players... we know this wasnt for the world cup or anything but it still means something special to score a goal to beat brazil, no matter the circumstances.
