@lastwolflord, Hi friend. Some facts so WAR fans are not misled. There was never a "lead" singer for WAR. They all sang lead and harmonies on various songs. For instance the "lead" on this song is Howard Scott who is alive and well with THE LOWRIDER BAND, the REAL WAR. Lead on the song LOWRIDER is sung by Charles Miller, may he RIP. Lead on SUMMER is Lonnie Jordan, who unfortunately "Can't Be Friends" with his OG bros of WAR and now fronts the sellout version of WAR that tours today. Peace.
