@squirm13 Me too and Star Maidens did not, have an arch-enemy in it likemBlake's Seven orDr Who and nobody gets killed off in it either which makes a change.
Ir eally was lucky to have grown up in the 1970's!! Loved this show as a young kid especially the Medusa or space ship episodes, dad really liked it too with hindsight though that was probably more to do with leggy blondes running about wearing platform boots and hot pants whilst firing ray guns at subdued men than the spaceships that my brother and I watched it for......used to be on Thursday nights at 7pm ...mum was at her slimming club when we watched it..LOL
I have a vague recollection of this as a kid, really good to see it again. I don't remember a pre Blakes Seven Gareth Thomas in it though!!! Sparked a memory of a New zealand made film with the same female lead Called Shaker Run.....
Even by the ultra-obscure standards of cult seventies UK sci-fi and fantasy television, 'Star Maidens' remains off most people's radar and down the memory hole so I salute your uploads of the entire series! This definitely needs to take its rightful place along Children Of The Stones.Space 1999, The Changes, Doomwatch, Tomorrow's People, Survivors, Quatermass Conclusion and Chocky to name but a few classic seventies and early eighties TV shows....sci-fi psychedelic amazonian freakout! hell yeah!
Bloke with the blonde streak (Adam?) dubbed by the great Robert Rietty.

@CRMZB I noticed with Star Maidens, there was no particular arch-enemy like in Blake's Seven or even Dr Who.
