Passat 3BG tacho (849) with lamp-failure enabled

Hi there, this is a 3B0 920 849C tacho modified to enable the lamp-failure detection. It is present on SuperB tachos... so it HAD to be here as well... As many other functions, it is disabled in the eprom. Before you ask, the modification is: address 0x021B, from EA to E9; address 0x0223, from 01 to 3B. Recode with +08 on the first two digits and that's all

When I recorded the video, the tacho was sitting on a table, out of the car... Airbag warning light is also on...There is another video with the tacho installed in the car.

Hi! Your mods and research have been a big inspiration to me, and I've done some of the things you've posted instructions for on the internet. Everything aways works as you said. Kudos!

But perhaps you can help me with this. I have the same cluster (same part number) and I'd love to set up bulb monitoring. What did you do to enable it, and which pins receive the signal on the cluster? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why immo lamp is flashing? Is tacho tested out of the car (immo unplugged?)?
