I have a canon hf s10, can you tell me what kind of lens i would need to make this? i am new to this, and appreciate any info...i guess i would need to know cost also... my cam uses a 58mm filter. thanks

@dabeastprod If you go to the Vid-Atlantic site you can get all the info thats needed there for the HF S10 as well as place an order for the full kit. This is an old DIY test for the GL1, so it was a bit different since the GL1 was larger and needed help macro focusing.

Couldn't you just shoot normally and flip the video in post?

yes, this is exactly how it is done.

Sweet. That adapter looks pretty good and is quite cheap for the results! I'm shooting on a GL1 also. I can't wait to save up for this!
Did you have to get an adapter to fit the 58mm thread on the front of the camera? I noticed their website says they only go up to 49mm.

actually this adapter was made with all kinds of parts and was not completely modular. It was held togther with tape. The adapter now being made wont work with the gl1's lens. there will be a pro version this spring that will work with the gl1 again. thanks for your interest!
