In re to the D28 Marquis,...my son has one ,--its a 2008, he and I both love, love, it. That style is , in my opinion, the best thing to come out of Nazareth in many years. It has everything that is desirable in a Martin guitar. In re to the SB , I have only seen one out in the bluegrass public. I am reminded of the bluegrass icon,-Bill Harrell. who played one.

@WildwoodvalleyBoy Re: Your question as to why anyone would prefer the sunburst Martin as opposed to, let's say, the natural finish. Yeah, I understand your point, the more I give it thought. I personally prefer the natural look. However, I do like the look of Gibson's J45 and always have. I really like the two tone burst of a strat. I'm in the market for either an HD28V or the Marquis. The sunburst is an option I haven't considered until watching this video. Your question is a big help to me.
