Valentina Vezzali Ambassador for YOG Fencing

This is a tribute to Valentina Vezzali, fencing's ambassador for Youth Olympic Games Singapore 2010.

Cited from the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime (FIE): The YOG in Singapore will count on the prestigious appearance of the most honored fencer in history. Valentina Vezzali, foilist, (ITA) has enthusiastically confirmed that she will attend these first YOG as fencing's Ambassador.
Her achievements and records are very vast and it will certainly be difficult to equal (3 times Olympic (Sydney, Athens, Beijing) winner & 5 times world championships winner 5 times European Champion 2 times Junior Fencing World Champion (1993, 1994) and 3 times Cadet World Champion (1989, 1990, 1991)).
