The Trini Eco Warrior crew, following up on a tip that there was an active oil-spill in the Soldado oil field in Trinmar, Point Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago, are accosted and harrased by state owned oil company Petrotrin. Please join the Trini Eco Warriors Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Trini-Eco-Warriors/162715583747492.

Despite maritime law granting free passage to all on the high seas, Petrotrin attempts to intimidate the team using the threat of violence at all times during our interaction.

  • Go Kyle, proud bro.

  • Wtf is dis..daz madness! Anything ever happen after this in relation to this incident?

  • watched this and saw your article next day . It's good to know that people like you are out there trying to make this country a better place to live . Petrotrin has alot to answer for with regards to environmental pollution and financial accountability .

  • BOOM! well done fellas. Petrotrin MUST be held accountable for their actions as they showed a blatant misuse and abuse of their vessels and man power, creating a potentially dangerous situation.

As someone posted earlier, this can be seen as a reflection of how Petrotrin runs its HSE department (a department of utmost importance in the oil sector).

Now, will Petrotrin and employees involved be made to account for their actions or would it be another case of it being "swept under the rug."

  • Trinidadian Sea Sheppards?

    Great work guys!
