TKD guy used chops brilliantly. In muay thai and kickboxing, this would be the version of a backfist (just have to tilt it to become an exact backfist). I don't know why chops are illegal in muay thai and in boxing. I think it's a very practical move. When I spar in boxing, I'm most of the time tempted to used chops I learn in FMA. :-)

muay thai guy sucked.... but the tkd guy was actually pretty good and fought pretty smart. Muay thai guy is obviously a beginner.

lucky thai kid didn't get hurt a few times there, he clearly has no idea what he's doing and the TKD kid looks pretty good. From the vids i've seen with MT vs TKD, thai fighters seem much stronger and seem to throw TKD guys around for fun. just my opinion for what its worth:)

@Wilney02 You don't tone down in a fight. Many fights are scheduled with two fighters at similar experience levels while others are also set up with one experienced fighter and one novice fighter.
But, this fight was only a sparring match before an actual tournament. They're fighting because the Thai kid was talking shit about how their team was going to win easy. So the Taekwondo kid challenged him. Both of them are 17.

the TKD fella is a black belt and the MT guy was obviously a begginer so some common sense should have been used here as the TKD guy is treating it like a death match
