What My Experience means for St. Petersburg

The Mayor of St. Petersburg has to manage a large amount of employees and budget that is under incredible stress. In my business career, I was singularly responsible for this effort and was able to grow my parents' paint company from 1 location and 4 employees to 24 stores and 150 employees. It was a family business and I knew the names and family background of all of my employees. We started a 401k program in the depth of the 1991 recession because it was the right thing to do.
