The band of my teenage days, I followed their every move from 14 to 17 when they broke up. What a band and kick ass sound they had, I dreamed of playing this stuff at that age and now I am it in my fifties, I often play over their first LP on CD. Look at the musicianship of those guys, I emulate Nigel on the Bass, Rod and Robbie were fantastic and Michael was amazing. Dame it, why did you break up while on the verge of greatness, it was just around the corner.

Brilliant -
does anyone know when this gig was?
I've spoke to Pete Thompson about it and he says it was supporting Deep Purple - but that was 72 so it doesn't make sense. They also did the Rainbow twice in 73 supporting Uriah Heep and Nazareth. Was this taken from another Rainbow gig??
