i loved the adventures of superman series, grew up watching it.always thought that george was the best superman, you can't go wrong with chris either.i have the whole series on dvd and enjoy watching these episodes over and over again.they also have really cool special features.phyllis was a good lois lane but she was kind of stuck up and mean, noel neil was the best.she was so sweet and loved her and jack together.
@13jam100 The first season of The Adventures of Superman was filmed in 1951, but did not appear on TV until 1953 when it got Kellogg's as a sponsor. By the time they were to film more episodes, she had other offers and decided not to continue with the show. Phyllis was perfect for the darker tone of the first season.
"...powers beyond mortal men" but yet needs glasses?!? defender of truth?... but yet lives a lie?!? "...Justice..." is relative term anyways and "...American Way" so he has a hitman lobbyist for big business?!?
Superman would occasionally consult with that old scientist. He'd walk into his office & the scientists secretary would say "Superman, you have to take a seat because the professor is taking his afternoon nap". So Superman sat for like an hour.
Then the professor said for him to vibrate his molecules & just "walk" through the wall. Superman said "I'm used to smashing my way through things. I've never heard of what you're saying".

@tebass1957 Yes, that's exactly the episode.

Very good episode.

@vassephardi Was that where the physics professor told superman to vibrate his body so he could walk through the solid walls?
