Mitch Daniels and his Secretary of Commerce, Nate Feltman, support "Right-to-Work." Right to work laws are an antiquated concept that were made obsolete by the 1963 "NLRB v. General Motors" Supreme Court decision. Don't believe the hype!

  • They should call it: The Right To Work For Peanuts Law.I live in one of those States that has the law. IT SUCKS!

It will make the rich get richer and the working class poorer! DON"T DO IT!

  • I love this video....Those who think they support Right to Work should do their homework. Lower wages, lower birth rate of babies (less health insurance), lower graduation #s, and on and on. That is the truth Mitch Daniels and the republicans do not want you to know and are counting on YOU not finding out.

  • @shaverbh Name one single company that actually passes the savings on to us. If what you say about the cost of goods is true then crap made in China should cost about a 3rd of it's US made counterpart. But somehow I can get a better quality boot that's US made for a comparable price. Yes it's true nonunion companies are more likely to break laws that protect employees.

  • @bigj200016 RTW is bad because it lets you steal from the labor union. This is simply a divide and conquer tactic. When did you ever have a non-union employer NEGOTIATE with you? I'll bet never. They told you what they would pay and you had to take it since they had all the power.

  • @shaverbh In what universe can a non-union laborer NEGOTIATE a salary with his employer? I have personally never seen a non-union job where the employer would entertain any "negotiations" by an employee. The non-union employer has all the power in deciding what they will pay and if you don't like it, there is the door!

  • I want the right to work FOR LESS! I wish to be a slave and I can't wait to go back to the days when workers had no rights. People like massa Dainiels created the problem so that wimpy Americans like me would get on their knees and say pleeeze massa Daniels give me a job, I'll work for less after all I and Indian needs and deserves less. Help Mitch. Sure he's as un-American as he can be but sounds like a massa a golly aren't we all ready to slaves again. God bless Reagan and God bless slavery!

  • ...more gainful and plentiful jobs and bring the cost of goods and services down, but also a liability backed by the full force of government. "Right to Work" allows employers to feel more confident in hiring and less fearful of their own reasonable decisions having a legal backlash that could bring immense harm to the company on which all employees, from the worker to the CEO, depend for their livelihood.

  • "Right to Work" legislation restores a credible and essential balance of power within the employee-employer relationship. This allows employees to negotiate wages with their employer to a fair market price without the costly distortions that come through unionization. Laws protecting unions have made every new employee not only a greater cost burden than the value of their labor, limiting the opportunities for improvement and expansion of the business which would naturally create more gainful a

  • The N.F.L. has a union and it worked! I am sure there is corrupt unions like their is corrupt politicans but that does not mean you stop having unions all together. HEY REPUBLICANS IF YOU HATE UNIONS SO MUCH THEN BOYCOTT THE NFL AND LET THE WORLD KNOW IT SMART ASSES. Just like Bush Jr. Pacific Free Trade Agreement/Nafta and everything else for FREE living like a roach and not know it is the same with Right to Work. Quick profit for ten years in the south then bankrupt.Tea Party suckers! RLMAO

  • Can any of you people against Right to Work tell me why it is bad? If I choose to work foran employer, why should some one other than me or my employer tell me that I have to have money stolen from my paycheck to pay for people to "represent" me. I am sorry, but I do not need your help, union. And by the way, who the hell do you think you are to tell me what my labor is worth to my employer. Let me negotiate with my employer for my compensation. Why should I have to subsidized the lazy slob

  • Right to Work actually means Right to be a slave and forced to work for less. If Bush was not such a conservative immigrant lover we would not have this problem if he would have protected the borders. American Indians can attest to that! Full of promises and pay cuts then making them walk the trial of tears. Nafta both parties are guilty of. Greenbay Packers vs. Cowboys, who are the real sell outs here? Imagine the NFL without a union! Full of immigrants and replacement players work4 less

  • @xOutlaw6x Competition makes us strong not weak. Tell that to those on social security instead of retirement. Sure they increase thats why they went down when Bush gave the rich welfare. That is why almost every non-union job has illegal mexicans. Most companies think legal labor workers should be paid less than minimum wage because there jobs are not important. LMAO go ahead get that free market then we really will be as broke as Russia maybe even Mexico. You will see.
