http://live.pirillo.com - After seeing my video where I installed Ubuntu on the computer I'm giving away to a lucky YouTube subscriber, Matt sent me a video showing how you can install Ubuntu onto Windows without overwriting your Windows Operating System.

  • Hey Mr dipstick in the video and all others. I am from South Africa and know the meaning of Ubuntu. It means "humanity to others". Now when you guys say it you are pronouncing it very wrong. It sounds like you are sayinf Ooboontoo.

Try saying it like Oo bun to. Bun as in currnet bun, not boon..Go try and see I am right... :-)

  • ubuntu is FREAKING AWSOME!!!!!!!!

  • @michaelball123 americans, they say they speak English, the English don't believe them

  • @techbeast34 i like the 1 2 3 usb installer (google it) it will download, patch and put the image on a usb drive. the usd drive will be much more responsive to use when trying via live cd. i've tried the live cd option and the usb live cd image is the way to go. aslo if any windows users wanna try linux, i'm pleased with linux mint 11 katya.

  • You do not need a disc to install Ubuntu. For newer computers, you could use a USB. Your computer could boot to a USB if it is from 2007-2008 And so on. For older computers, use the live CD.

  • @dontmesswiththeryhan I installed Ubuntu 11.04 with wubi and have had no problems with it. I have seen in the Ubuntu page on facebook that had trouble with wubi too. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I am thinking of installing it on a real partition. I am going to reinstall Windows 7 then install Ubuntu 11.04 again and split the hard drive in half. Instead of the 30 gig virtual drive that wubi gives you. I became a fan of Chris Pirillo on Tech TV and would trust what he says.

  • you retard your always talking all of your tiring videos put your videos in trash..

  • @zloadesf try puppy linux mate :) Runs hardly any pc resources and is built to, lets say 'recycle' older computers.
