I used a 2 speed shorty power glide trans, made a adpter with a shaft seal. bolted them together.

how did you connect the trany and rear dif?

I made a simple adapter for them to mate up, turns out the shaft coming out of the trans is the same diameter and splines as the diff. pinion gear.

you could use a 4L60e to make a C5 Diff

@holyratshit ok. been looking to make a frame car, wanted to go mid engine but no ls1 is a trans axle was thinking about a 5.3 from an impala ss or something.
