I have definitely bee enjoying your comments. My observation is that everyone's first instinct is to split their legs really wide and bend forward. This limits the exercise to what your groin flexibility can do as well as how much you can 'round back'.
If you treat it like an RDL, you can probably get sizable loads going. My best has been a bulldog up top (44kgs) and a 135lbs barbell in the low hand for five reps.
Good breakdown. I just started doing windmills with my 16kg bells a few weeks ago and I'm still spreading my feet apart like I'm about to pop some squats without even realizing it, old habits die hard lol
