Btw my last comment was intended for viewers at large; I am certain ryesandbergfan23 is aware of the extremely limited usefulness of signature avs, which is probably part of why he demos them to show how at risk you'd be to rely on them alone.

Any Av/As solution that relies on signatures alone is basically not worth its salt, unless you add a behavior blocker or hips. The exponential rise in zero-day threats has rendered signature-exclusive solutions obsolete, and typically will only detect 50%-80% of the malware in the wild, which means you are running through bear country half naked. Everyone needs to be aware of this. At the least, stack Threatfire on top of a signature solution.
