  • There are a lot, but a lot similarities between Adobe Bridge and Lightroom, for example meta-data, changes, etc.

  • mate you are the best thanks for this info

  • i own both photoshop and lightroom, how ever i use lightroom for 99% of my photography needs and photoshop just for graphics

  • @RiverRusted as a psd you can come back to edit that file not do it all over again. But he use just save and skip the save as. Also in camera raw if you want to open in PS with all the settings you made is camera raw you won't press open image you press open copy and also that xmp won't appear.

  • @RiverRusted Exactly what I was thinking. Why would you save as a .jpg and as a .psd file in PS? Makes no sense. Just open the .crw file again if you need to access the original. And if LR just saves the changes you made in PS to the .crw file as a .psd file anyway, then there is clearly no advantage in saving hard drive space.

  • After U are done with the photo in PhotoShop, why are u saving it as a PSD file. PSD's are large. Change them to a jpeg. wtf

  • Dear Mark I am a semi pro photographer and I want to buy a iMac for photo and video editing. I think between Aperture and Lightroom. I ve read that Mac os Lion has many many bugs? What is your opinion? What would you suggest? Thanks a lot!!

  • @gilegraam That depends on what you define as 'better' doesn't it? On my machine LR outperforms Aperture in speed, for example, so I think LR is better. When you say one product is better than the other, you should really also say why...
