lmao!! When The ride first started I was like wow nobody is on the ride it looks pretty empty. Then when it went upside down I saw everybody's hands waving around lol! looks like a fun ride!
The very 1st time I rode this I was 10 yrs old when it came out here. It was ok at first but you go highe and higher and looking down you can see the wheels and rocks at the bottom god I've never been so scared on a ride I swore I'd never get on it again, (but I did). I miss AstroWorld.
This model ride made its debut at Six Flags over GA in '85 and then removed at the end of that season as part of a ride rotation program initiated that year. It was ironic that the Shuttle Challenger exploded, prompting locals here in Atl to start rumors about its removal. Six Flags dispelled the rumors and brought another Starship back in '89 by popular demand (purchased from the Vancouver Expo) where it remained in full swing until the park removed it in '07 to make way for a hyper coaster.
