  • You guys look so cozy cruising along...Now forgive me, but why are your props running at high rpm? The mixture doesnt look like it is pulled back as well.

  • Good question. It's difficult to see, but they actually are pulled back, a little. It's very little movement to reduce RPM and lean this engine.

  • Less than 50 lbs.

  • @garanater actually I was not drunk lol. I meant oxygen masks and not the little nose thing. I learned that you need masks over FL180

  • @garanater oh ya... I must have been drunk or something when I wrote that comment. Or probably I didn't watch it entirely. Sorry.

  • @Kaipeternicolas You can see the clear oxygen lines

  • It just goes to show you do not need enourmous passenger airplanes to fly long distances. I bet this used alot less fuel

  • You are not crossing the north atlantic you are crossing the Labrador Sea ;)

  • Very Cool! Mooney makes some impressive airplanes!

  • I can appreciate the long range of the Acclaim. I know they have cup holders, but where are the urinal holders?

  • The guys fly at FL230 (no masks?!?) with Power 30.5MAP @2400 (2390)rpm. and above FL220 with Best Power. At ISA condition you have 226KTAS @19.6 FF/h. everythings are correct hier. 6.6 means for ice protection.

  • 6.6 gph, my ass, you must have read that wrong, that plane uses 3-4 times that per hour, though they are efficient for how fast they fly!! Bad ass plane, it is the one I want!!! Big Balls crossing over so much H20 on 1 engine, I would feel much better w/ a twin doing that.

  • Arent u supposed to use oxygen masks over 18000 feet?
