@NiKo1327 The 1200 sportster is not a small bike at all. Sportsters are a much older model and have more history and respect than the fat boy, fat bob, xbones and vrods. These hard core Harley guys are a little short on their memory.

Nice scoot. I'm also a Sportster enthusiast and have owned my bike for over 12 years now. Don't listen to the haters. True, women love and buy this bike because it is a sexy hot rod! That's why it's a girls bike. They've been choppin and racing this bike since 1957. It's a REAL bike and it can be whatever you want it to be.

hey im actually thinking about purchasing my first harley when i get back from iraq...in about 3 months i know a lot of "hard core bikers" tend to hate on sportsters saying they are a womans bike but thats not my concern i was wondering if its a good harley to start with considering theyre inexpensive...and still a harley

The 1200 is a Great Bike, I stuck a set of Buell Heads, Cams and throttlebody and injectors on mine and I Only see Dyna's and the 100cu Victories in my mirrors. Downfall the shorter wheel base is a pain on LONG rides, I'll go for about 8 hrs in a day where on a bigger bike you can do more time.

nice bike... im selling my 06 gsrx 1000 and taking a big loss to buy an 08 1200 L, i lost interest in "crotch rockets" and i like what you did with yours, i see there is endless things to make a bike truely yours.

Hey, took me sometime to get back, I like the ride of the Harley, I can't pull the wheel off the ground at 60 ,like a bullet bike, But I have alot of deep torque at the higher end. Scares the Sh*t right out of me at times, Plus it has a cool sound . Good luck with your bike , I'm very sure you'll enjoy it..
