Susan, I love the way you outlined the reasons for a job objective. The worst mistake you can make on your resume is NOT having an objective that fits the job you are applying for. Too often job seekers think stating their objective LIMITS them. That's because the job seeker doesn't understand how the employer's mind - and often computer - works. Without an objective, the employer throws up his/her hands and says "What is it you want?" The objective states clearly what you want.
