What I Hate About Marikina

Even though I love Marikina City, there are still things that I hate about it. This is one good example of those things.

But there have been improvements in the last 20 years.

We survived. Ondoy was hell. The water went up to the ceiling of the first floor of our house.

Okay na din ngayon. It was really bad in the 80s. Kaming magkakapit bahay may mga bangka talaga dati.

I hope government sees that whatever reclamation is being done in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces gravely affects low lying areas. Officials in these lower places should rally against more reclamation at the Manila de Bay.

Grabe! I was wondering how its like if i'm still living in Marikina, coz i literally grew up there, the worse flood ever!!!!

Sa BAYAN po kami, got worried with my sister and dad, buti na lang nasa 6th floor

unit nila. But still heart,breaking that people lost their lives...
