As it starts to get warmer and cherry season kicks into gear, you might yearn for the refreshing and enriching flavor of a cherry cheesecake but shudder (or sweat) at the thought of turning on the oven. With this recipe, all you need to do is mix the ingredients, chill, and savor this light dessert.

  • i don't agree very much on the fact of using poor quality cherry pie filling, it's like spoiling it, why not making it fresh?????

  • @colombianbellydancer i dont care.

  • My mother used to make this recipe when we were kids...a family favorite. Thank you for posting this.

There is one glitch in your version of the recipe - you need 4 Tablespoons of lemon juice to make the pie "set" properly. One teaspoon is not enough...leaves the pie more like pudding.

  • yay first to comment! thx for the great video! :) I'm gonna try it by following ur vid :) I'll let u know how it turns out! :D

  • @luv2bakecakes I agree. It needs to be refrigerated and chilled for longer than 20 minutes. Great recipe, BTW.

  • Oh. this is a cherry cream cheese pie. This is very good.
